Within the AeroSTREAM project Dario Stuhne from Innovation Centre Nikola Tesla participated in Learning expedition on the 22nd and 23rd of February 2024 in Seville and Cádiz. Seville, the third aeronautical pole in Europe, is home to the Andalusian aviation sector consisting of 129 companies, with a concentration in Seville (94 companies) and Cádiz (25 companies). The sector exhibits diversity in activities, including mechanical, engineering, services, and more. Aerostructures constitute the majority (47%), followed by services (38%).
AEROSTREAM co-organized this expedition to strengthen cooperation with partners and enhance access for European SMEs to explore collaborations. During the learning expedition AEROSTREAM partners had the opportunity to visit one of the most important aerospace technology centers in Europe, CATEC, and visited two of the companies within Andalucía Aerospace Cluster.
