The Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), in collaboration with FundingBox company, hosted recently in Rijeka the Second Digital Innovation Hubs Regional Workshop for rising capacity and collaboration among European Digital Innovation Hubs and Digital Innovation Hubs in the Western Balkans. First day was hosted by the STEP RI – Science and Technology Park of the University of Rijeka, the event brought together around 30 representatives from Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) across the region and new EDIHs from Albania, Serbia, North Macedonia, Montenegro.
The EDIH CROBOHUB++ and EDIH Adria presented their EDIHs and shared experiences and good practices with the colleagues from WB countries who are getting their EDIH designation. The second day of this event included site visit to the company Infobip in Vodnjan, where participants experienced firsthand the cutting-edge developments from this leading tech company, as well as afternoon sessions where they worked together to learn about the DIH/EDIH challenges in the region and how they can collaborate in the Balkans.
